Musicole 

Contract Rider:

This contract is for the personal services____________________ (herein called the Artist) and_______________________(herein called purchaser). For the engagement described below made this_____day of_______20___

Between Michael Coleman the Artist, and ________________________The Purchaser.

Rider attached to and made part of contract dated_____________________ Between Michael Coleman and______________________ Herein referred to as “Employer”.

The facility stage manager and or official representative, who shall be familiar with the physical set-up of the venue, and have keys and access to dressing rooms, electrical power, loading doors etc., and who shall have read and agreed to the provisions outlined in this rider shall act as liaison between ARTIST and stage crews, etc.

Artist shall be afforded a 1 (One)hour sound check.

No other act or performer may use the Artist's equipment on any show here-under. If in the event permission to use equipment is given by the artist, such is to be under the direction of the artist or artist's production or road manager.

Venue to provide 1(One) security officer which is be posted at the door of the dressing room from the time the Artist arrives at the venue until they leave the venue. 1(One) personal security is to assigned to protect Artist while they are at the venue.

Comfortable and private dressing room(s) able to accommodate 10 people. Dressing room(s) need to be clean and contain ten chairs, dressing table, well lighted mirrors, wardrobe rack with hangers. Dressing rooms shall be in easy access to clean, private lavatories, which are to be supplied with soap, toilet tissue, and at least (10) towels. These lavatories will be closed to the public. First aid kit must be supplied and accessible to Artist. Purchaser shall be solely responsible for the security of items in the dressing room from Artist's arrival till the Artist's departure from venue. Each room shall be lockable with keys given to Artist or Artist road manager upon arrival.

Load in/Load out-NOTE: All crew members described below, except members of the Artist's crew shall be provided by the venue at no cost to Artist. Venue/Purchaser shall be fully responsible for their crew members actions and conduct.

Purchaser shall have someone in authority at the venue to assist Artist's crew at least 1(one) hour to load in.

A total working force of 4(four) men plus 2(two) loaders shall be available to Artist's crew during load-in to assist in positioning and setting of Artist's staging equipment (same work force will be needed for load-out). This work force shall be knowledgeable and speak the English language.

There should be ample storage back stage to store empty cases and road cases/boxes. The storage area should be clear of scenery, props, hardware, risers, etc. The storage are shall not be accessible to the public.

Venue shall provide Artist and crew with ample parking at no cost to the Artist. Purchaser must provide any necessary passes for Artist and Artist's crew and Artist's Management.

Staging and Electrical Requirements:   

A minimum staging area of at least 24 feet wide x 24 feet deep, plus (3) 6 x 8ft risers (1) Drum Riser (Center Stage), (1 on each end of the stage). 1 for Horns, 1 for Vocals. We need (3) Bar stools to be available for vocalist.

The stage area must be barricaded so that the general public can not gain access to the stage before, during, and immediately after the performance.  

 

  1. Purchaser will provide all Back line equipment and sound and lights, unless other arrangements are made. The Artist can provide house monitor engineer if necessary.
  2. The recording, reproduction, or transmission of Artist's performance is prohibited without written consent of Artist.
  3. Artist will provide Purchaser with complete layout of stage and equipment and monitor set up.
  4. Purchaser agrees to have stage crew and or roadies properly set stage according to Artist expectations.
  5. Purchaser is to provide a Fruit basket and complete sandwich tray with cold cuts and turkey slices, white and wheat bread preferred. Sodas and Juice is also to be provided. (Pepsi, Coke, Slice, Sprite, Cranberry and Orange Juice and Ice Tea).
  6. No Alcohol of any kind is to be provided. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Purchaser is responsible for 50% non-refundable deposit payable to the Artist upon the signing of the contract. Payable with Cashiers check or Money order. NO Personal Check!

  1. Merchandising Paraphernalia by artist will be sold on the following terms.

          All merchandise will be submitted by Artist and all proceeds from sales will be  exclusively the Artist responsibility. 

 

  1. Purchaser will provide Sound & Lights unless otherwise agreed on.

The Artist will provide House and Monitor engineer and Light Tech.

 

  1.  Artist shall have the right to have representation shall have the right to examine box office records and receipts relating to the performance only.
  2. Artist's obligations under this agreement are subject to detention or prevention of sickness, accident, riots, strikes, epidemics, or any other Act of God which could endanger the health or safety of the artist.
  3. Either party may cancel this agreement without obligation to other if notice is received 30 days in advance of the performance.
  4. Food/Beverage: Purchaser is to provide a Fruit Basket and complete sandwich tray tray with cold cuts, and turkey or Ham slices, white and wheat bread preferred. 24-36 piece hot/mild wings, Sodas and Juice is also to be provided. (Pepsi,Cranberry, and Orange Juice, and Ice Tea). No Alcohol of any kind is to be provided. NO EXCEPTIONS!
